A clean and straightforward site for a multimedia designer. I like the use of a relatively common layout, it allows the visitor to immediately find their way. The typeface used for \'Steve Brown\' is wonderful and makes a great statement about his design philosophy!

An understated but stylish site for a digital designer. The use of a textured background works really well, while the plain white text on black is clear and makes a bold statement. The subtle use of colour in the header bar works well offset against the confident black and white of the rest of the page.

A slick portfolio site that features a massive central slideshow! The use of a scrolling gallery of recent work is excellent and perfectly showcases the company\'s diversity. I like the use of green to add interest to an otherwise monochrome layout!

The personal portfolio of James O\'Connell features a screen-wide slideshow that makes a great impact. As a designer it\'s vital to showcase your work and design philosophy to any prospective clients and this is achieved here using a gallery of James\' recent work. I like the subtlety of the dark grey text on the light grey background. It\'s not something that immediately makes sense, but that works perfectly to allow the colourful designs to grab your attention.

A good and intriguing site for a web design agency. I particularly like the colourful doodles and friendly typeface! The spacing of everything does bother me slightly but it\\\'s made up for by the textured background and strokes of colour.

An interesting site for a web portfolio. The graphic on the right is intriguing and certainly makes an impact but the overall spacing feels slightly off - the redundant gap beneath the header is screaming for attention! Overall, the black and silver approach is stylish but could benefit from some colour.

A straightforward but undeniably effective portfolio for a web designer. The intuitive header is good and I like the size and readability of the main typeface. The coffee mug and cookie design is a nice touch and adds interest to the focal area of the site.

Posted in Web Design → DesignA beautifully minimal site for a web design and development company. The brutally sparing use of content allows the viewer to immediately take in the fundamentals of the site. I really like the use of brushstroke colour at the bottom, waves in an ocean of colour.
