A great site for a web designer that makes an immediate impact through its illustrative style. The overall branding of the site works really well, and I love the examples of typography here.

A bright and immediately engaging site for a company that will help you design and create an app. I really like the consistent theme and use of simple illustrations to make a statement.

A striking home site for a graphic designer. I think the decision to keep the text at an absolute minimum unless the user requests it works really well here. Using switches helps to make it an immersive experience and further intrigue any prospective clients, although it may also put some off.

The designer whose site this is purports to make websites that \'function\' & \'sparkle\' and this one certainly does! The bold focal graphic and luxurious use of space combine and make it a joy to look around. I particularly like the way the site gradually draws you down the page.

A nice looking portfolio with an interesting theme. I actually like the footer best and have featured this portion of the site above.

The watercolor illustration of clouds on this site is quite beautiful and interestingly combined with origami birds for an altogether unique look. I like the single-page nature of the site and how the content for other pages scrolls in via jQuery instead of additional page loads.

The graphic design portfolio of M. Muller. I really like the simplicity of this site. It is essentially just a headline and a large slideshow. The animated beakers in the background are a really nice touch and there is a 3D effect that takes place when you move your mouse.
